Interior decorating advise please?

I have just painted a chocolate feature wall in my kitchen and would now like to add a collection of framed family photes but not sure what colour frame will go?
The kitchen is brown colour with a hint of burgandy, appliances silver, brown sofa and brown rug ( have 2 young kids so brown is recomended ). I am now afraid there are to many browns so would like to brighten the room a little, the rest of the walls are a sandy colour.

boric acid for roaches?

i live at westchester apts. the manager and owners ignore all of us, and the roaches are bad, last year i had to leave home with my cat to have it bombed, and the neighbor in #20 refuses to clean the patio and there is alot of wood on the patio that blackwidow spiders and roaches love to live in, how do i use boric acid, right now the bugs are little, and i believe there is a nest under my cabinet in the kitchen where i keep utensils and pots and pans.

what are the kitchen utensils and equipment?

collect all household rubbish together and sort it in sorting facility or ask ppl to sort it before collection

sorting after collection: faster, mostly with machines, more precise (by the types of metal etc), lots more get recycled, rubbish of every household gets recycled
sorting before collection: takes 15 mins per week – would be better if everybody works that 15 mins in his/her profession (makes more even for tax), kitchen is not full of eyesoring dirty bins, garden door doesnt need to be opened to many times so heating bill is lower (fosil fuel), less fosil fuel gets consumed because fewer vehicles come to collect. what do you think?
MORE: they are strugling to acheive recycling rates of 20%, even with recycling garden waste (fiddle!). sorting affter collecting would increase recycling to over 90%. we can t bully ppl into recycling the same as we do not bully them into cleaning street in the front of their house.

What could you make using ingredients from a college cafeteria?

I’m hungry for a home-cooked meal, but like any average college student, I’m broke with a capital B.

My cafeteria has the usual extensive salad bar, egg bar with seasonings, chopped up onions, meats, and veggies, oil, butter, and of course eggs. We have apples, oranges, and bananas, a breakfast bar with cereal, bread, butter, honey, brown sugar and Cinnamon, etc., and a stir fry bar with different stir fry sauces, rice, and stir fry veggies.

And here’s the menu for tonight: Carved Meatloaf, Jambalaya, Black Beans, Dirty Rice, fried Okra, Fresh Yellow Squash & Onions, Corn Muffins

Any ideas?

p.s. I have a kitchen and cooking utensils at my disposal.

What are the best kinds of Pots/Pans?

I need new pots/pans. I have old T-Fal brand ones and the non-stick is starting to come off of. I have a 2 year old and I know it can be dangerous if the non-stick stuff gets into food and you eat it. I worry especially for her health. I’m looking for new pots and pans but there are so many kinds I don’t know where to start. Can anyone offer advise?

Are there any small kitchen appliances or gadgets that you use constantly? Are there some that you hardly ever use?

For me, I use my garlic press at least four times per week. I also use my wine opener quite a bit. :-D lol.
